so what sort of vibrations do you make? unfortunately i'm at work at the moment, so i can't follow the links right now, but hopefully I'll have time before I go out tonight - failing that, tomorrow afternoon
one of the plans for the new glr is to create an archive of everyone's tunes accessible from one place to stream/download as well as from each band's own page within the site - which brings me to my next point:
after this redesign the 'band bio' section is going to be split into separate pages, and filled with all sorts of additional links, info, music, pictures, video etc etc - so...
1) do you want a page and glr forum-area?
2) do you mind having your music in the glr database?
if you're up for it, the kind of stuff that the page will include is - a bio/history, music links, links (to the allocated forum-area) for reviews, related artwork, photos pictures etc, useful info (contact, live dates, news and so on) .. plus anything else you'd want to add - its really up to you how much or how little goes on it i guess
and if you know precisely how you want it to look, send me some html or whatever and i'll try and integrate it into the general site design
awesome
Kesey:
well, i guess i would classify my sound as lo-fi experimental post-punk with a dash of grunged up electro-folk, a hint of psychedelic blues, all served over a steaming hot bed of plain old fashioned rock'n'roll. Mainly an instrumental undertaking, however the apartment recordings LP and fallen EP have a few lyrics littered throughout. add stereo headphones, and your choice of personal intoxicants to suit your specific taste and enhance the experience.
i've recently completed recording two EPs of covers which are a good indicator of my influences.
the first is appropriately titled the covers EP and the track listing is as follows:
1. Badfish - Sublime
2. Hewlett's Daughter - Grandaddy
3. Left & Leaving - The Weakerthans
4. Harvest Moon - Neil Young
5. Sometimes - Pearl Jam
6. Incinerate - Sonic Youth
7. The Light & the Glass - Coheed & Cambria
and the second is (and i know all you GLRers are gonna like this...) called the Beatles EP. Ironically enough this short EP features covers of four of my favourite Fab Four songs:
1. I'm So Tired
2. Come Together
3. Back In the U.S.S.R.
4. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
i would very much like to participate in this project, so for sure i'll take a page and a forum area. and as for the database, sign me up too. i've always believed in freedom of music; the more outlets for exposure the better. i'd be happy to contribute, & get my music heard.
my computer programming never made it past my commodore 64 days so my abilities in that regards are BASIC (hehe, no pun intended... okay, 10 PRINT "fuck it" i intended it) and my knowledge of HTML is limited at best, so i'm afraid i'd have to leave all the techie stuff to someone with the knowhow (i.e. you deceptionist, if your up to it...) but i'd be happy to throw together a bio, and send you some pics or whatever else... etc...
anyway, yeah, so, um, like, cool...
okay here are the links to the aforementioned albums (absolutely athrill about aliteration, or couldn't you tell...)

one more link to post... just a single with two b-sides... track listing =>
1. morphine dream
2. chocolate chips
3. fallen take 2
the lyrics for morphine dream were written by a friend of mine, Andy Burrows, for my previous now defunct band
tangled busche, but was never properly recorded. i always liked the song and wanted to record it but it's not going to fit on the album i'm working on right now so i'll get it out there in this format.
